Bell Centennial Type Specimen Booklet
The Bell Centennial Type Specimen Booklet was designed to showcase typeface designer Matthew Carter's font used for the AT&T Phonebook's in the late 70's. The booklet has various chapters which document Bell Centennial's origins as a typeface, it's styles and characteristics, and it's usage beyond phonebook's. The booklet design itself constitutes the colors of yellow, red, black, and white to demonstrate the typeface's cheery but edgy characteristics- and to also show off a modern/industrial feel that resembles Carter's background during the late 70's while growing up in the UK.
